Get your professional radio commercial template for Microsoft Word

How would you like to use a simple, very effective professional radio commercial script template? Now you can. It gives you perfect formatting for your radio spot. It's an MS Word dot file --- or template. You won't get the words to say. But the words you use will be formatted right. Buy it now for just $27.

A Few Words About the Template

Although the template says it's for a :60, you can use it for any length as long as you know about how many words you'll need for the time of the commercial.

There are no instructions with the template. So here is what you need to know if you have never used a template or written a commercial. The SFX stands for sound effects. ANNCR: is for announcer. There are generally from 150 to 170 words in a :60 commercial. Obviously, there are about half that many in a thirty second commercial. That will, however, vary. A lot depends on how you want it delivered. So there are no hard, fast rules.

Other things you should know

  • Spell any difficult words out for the announcer. An example would be HY-PER-BUY-LEE
  • Spell out numbers (each number is a word)
  • Double dash means for the announcer to take a short pause.

You want your commercial heard, understood and acted upon. So don't push it. If you write radio scripts, you already know all that. That information is for those who have never written a radio commercial.

THE TEMPLATE DOES NOT COUNT THE WORDS FOR YOU. THIS IS NOT SOFTWARE.

In some versions of MS Word, you will see ruled lines. In others, you won't. It doesn't matter. The template works the same.

What You Get

This hard-to-find template will make all of your radio commercials look professional. When you turn them over to production they'll know they're dealing with a real pro. Or if you turn them over to a client, he'll know he's paid a professional and not some hack. It matters how your radio spot looks.

Not only that but this unique template makes writing your spot easier.
