Privacy Statement
for www.powerwriting.com
Powerwriting.com has created this privacy
statement to demonstrate our company's firm commitment
to protecting our users' privacy. The following
discloses our information-gathering and dissemination
practices for this site, http://www.powerwriting.com. Be sure and read the "exceptions information" below.
A Word About Our E-mail Follow-up Policy
We do require your correct and current e-mail
address and not an alias address when you inquire
about our services. We believe this is only fair
business practice. We do not, however, solicit
business. Powerwriting does not need to send out
a lot of follow-up e-mails because no one deal
is that important to us.
We may, from time to time and when it seems
appropriate, send one or two follow-up e-mails
to someone who has inquired about our services.
We will never, however, spam you or send
you e-mail that you have not requested. Our policy
is that you contact us. We don't contact you.
Simply put, we won't send you a lot of follow-up
e-mail. But we do need a certain amount of information
before we can discuss your needs.
We do honor your privacy at all times. See Exceptions Below.
What this means is that you can provide us with
your e-mail address in full confidence. But we
won't give out quotes or other information without
getting certain information in return. That information is safe with us. We do not share your information or your name, address or e-mail address or any other information at any time and for any reason.
Our Other Policies
Use of Gathered Information
This site uses real-time-traffic monitoring which by its nature gathers certain information such as your IP address.
PW will not sell or disclose to third parties
the contact information or use it in violation
of the terms provided herein. Our site uses cookies
to keep track of the number of visitors to our
site and other similar details. It does not, however,
know your e-mail address or anything about you
other than your domain.
Our site's registration forms require users to
give us contact information (like their name,
sometimes telephone number and e-mail address).
Users may opt out of receiving future mailings
at any time.
Powerwriting.com is strictly a Permission Marketing
adherent and will not knowingly send e-mail to
anyone who has not in some manner requested to
hear from us.
Choice/Opt-Out
Our site provides users the opportunity to opt
out of receiving communications from us at any
time.
Users can have their names and e-mail addresses
deleted from our database simply by sending a
blank e-mail to remove@powerwriting.com.
This site contains links to other sites. Powerwriting.com
is not responsible for the privacy practices or
the content of other Web sites.
The Use of Names and E-mail Addresses
We Collect
Powerwriting.com does not sell, rent or in any
way allow anyone to see or use the list of names
and e-mail addresses we collect on our Web site
or in any other way, including through e-mail sent
to us. The information users provide us with is
confidential and only used by us. Should you ever
opt-out of our list, your information is removed
as if it never existed. Currently our mailing
list is handled by a third party on another server
and names are not collected on this site at all.
Subscribing to our newsletter is handled by the
third party entirely.
Our Clients Right to Privacy
Each of our clients enjoy a confidential relationship
with us. We do not share confidential information
of one client with another client or with anyone
else.
We consider anything a client tells us as confidential.
We do, from time to time, use something that we've
written as a sample of our writing. But if a client
does not want us to do this with an item we wrote
for him or her for any reason, we will not use
it in that manner. We take our client's privacy
very seriously.
The Powerwriting.com privacy policies do not extend to Susanna's personal blog. The blog has no privacy policy.
Exceptions to our privacy policy.
While we take your privacy very seriously, we do make an exception. When a person either defrauds us or makes an attempt to do so, we make that person's name and contact information available to highly-read, public Internet sites and Blacklists.
By defraud we include such things as bad checks, stop payment on checks or chargebacks on credit cards among similar things. We do not take these things lightly. See our Legal Notices for full details. People who do these things are not afforded the same privacy rights as good Internet citizens.
Privacy Policy Forfeiture: Our Privacy Policy will be null & void for any buyer / client who does a chargeback, withholds any amount of total payment due, stops payment, contests sale, disputes payment, defaults in payment in any way, misconduct, or violates any law, intent or attempt to defraud us, violates or breaches our terms of service / sales conditions, other applicable terms / service policies, or any other reason as determined by Power Communications LLC, at its sole and absolute discretion.
